ATP tennis quarter final - Chengdu China

I hadn't really heard of Chengdu but it seems to be a large city in China and is famous for its Giant Panda breeding programme.
The quarter final was between Yuichi Sugita from Japan seeded 5 and unseeded Dusan Lajovic from Serbia.
Again, I wasn't familiar with either of these players but they delivered a speedy, hard hitting contest.

Sugita was wearing a fairly horrible olive green polo shirt but it did no harm as he quickly broke to lead 2-0.
Lajovic won his first game at 3-1 and actually succumbed to a 6-2 first set loss in just 25 minutes. All a bit of a slug-fest with Lajovic seemingly standing a long way behind the baseline and being given the runaround.
The second set had a different vibe.
Lajovic was much more competitive and broke early for a 2-1 lead.
He almost broke for a second time as Sugita, who had completely lost his rhythm, dug in to stay in touch.
Sugita then broke back on a most contentious point. A ball from Sugita was called out and he immediately challenged. The ball was in fact in and the umpire also decided that the 'out' call had come after Lajovic had played his shot and therefore the point was not replayed and Sugita got the break.
Lajovic was not umpire and gave the umpire a piece of his mind.
Having initially responded well with fierce hitting, Lajovic then completely capitulated in the last game with two loose forehands and ended up losing 6-2, 6-4
You can't help feeling that Lusan, having been on top in the second set, ended up beating himself.
